Your specialty in view. And the person as well.

The reason for the visit pre-filters the input fields, so you only see what fits the case. The Round Tree shows the patient's condition across twelve body systems.

Is DocPad right for your practice?

Five short questions. Your answers stay in your browser.

  1. Do you have an iPad Air (5th generation, M2 or M3) or are you planning to get one?
  2. Do you work with a practice management system?
  3. Do you treat patients with statutory health insurance?
  4. Is there stable, encrypted Wi-Fi in the treatment rooms?
  5. Can your team set aside about 60 minutes for training before the start?

As little as necessary. As complete as possible.

Reason for the visit

The fields fit the case.

DocPad is designed to ask for as few parameters as necessary while still capturing the clinical picture as completely as possible.

Values

Coded, not free text.

You capture findings as values, coded in the international medical terminologies such as SNOMED CT and ICD-10.

Completion

Diagnoses according to ICD-10.

After you sign, the final report with the diagnoses according to ICD-10 goes back to your PMS automatically.

Not just the organ he is here for today.

The Round Tree shows the patient's condition across twelve body systems. The further an arm extends, the more the system is under strain.

This way you see the whole person. Secondary findings do not get lost.

How a pilot works.

Seven steps from the first conversation to regular operation. You can see the first days on site in more detail below.

  1. 1. Initial conversation

    • You tell us what you hope to get from DocPad.
    • We clarify which practice management system you work with.
    • If we don't yet have an interface to your PMS, the start may be delayed. We will tell you this right at the beginning.
  2. 2. Visit to your practice

    • We get to know each other in person.
    • We accompany your team through a day of everyday practice.
    • Together we decide which doctors and which areas DocPad starts with.
  3. 3. Pilot contract and preparation

    • Pilot contract with a fixed start and end date, plus the data processing agreement.
    • You name a medical assistant as Key User. She is your internal contact person for DocPad.
    • We coordinate the technical side with your IT service provider.
  4. 4. Kick-off Day 1

    • The DocPad team introduces itself.
    • Time for questions and answers.
    • Lunch together.
    • DocPad live and setup of the iPads.
  5. 5. Training from day 2

    • Up to two days, depending on the number of participants.
    • Your Key User receives more in-depth training and can later train new colleagues themselves.
  6. 6. Accompanied start

    • For up to three days after the kick-off, we work alongside you. How long depends on how confident your team feels.
    • After that come fixed appointments: after about three days, after two weeks and after five weeks.
  7. 7. Regular operation

    • Final review meeting.
    • Fixed contacts for medicine, technology and organisation.
    • Transition from the pilot to the regular contract.

Timeline

The timeline shows the entire documented history, separated into outpatient, emergency and inpatient. If emergencies pile up or hospital stays become more frequent, you see it in seconds instead of piecing it together from discharge letters.

Within an episode

A timeline shows how the strain on the body systems changes. Every documentation step is signed. It is clear who recorded what and when.

What we are often asked.

Does DocPad replace our practice management system?

No. DocPad is not a practice management system and does not want to be one. Billing, appointments and archive continue as usual.

Does DocPad make diagnoses?

No. DocPad does not automatically create diagnoses. It accompanies the diagnostic process. The diagnosis is and remains the doctor's decision.

Can we also take on privately insured patients?

Not at the moment. The patient must be registered in the PMS and covered by statutory health insurance.

What do we need technically?

An iPad Air (5th generation, M2 or M3) and a stable Wi-Fi connection with internet access. The interface is in German.
